Superhero training academy

Invent your own hero, solve a rescue clue and move through a gentle training route. Familiar characters are optional; every guest can join without knowing a show.

Main activity: Cooperative missions and hero badge making

Plan the party

Make it work: Use walking, balancing and soft-toy rescues. No climbing, swinging, contact battles or tight costume ties. Offer seated missions.

Plan for 12 children

An editorial worked example, not a tested capacity or venue quote. Includes the birthday child; count attending adults separately. Adapt to your guests and check product labels.

Run the activity
Three teams of four create hero names, rescue 3 soft toys and solve 3 simple envelope clues. Complete the missions together; nobody needs a branded costume.
Quantities and materials
Prepare 12 badge sheets, 3 clue envelopes, 3 soft toys and 3 trays of borrowed crayons or markers. Use paper floor arrows on approved surfaces; do not string webs across walkways.
Space and adult roles
One adult leads missions and one supervises crafts, food and arrivals. Use low, grounded movement; offer seated clue solving and drawing as equal team roles.
Buy, borrow or skip
Plain tableware and homemade badges are enough. Spidey products are optional for a child who likes them; the preschool character theme is a separate age-specific suggestion.
Budget assumptions
Example allowance: $65 snacks/drinks, $25 cake, $15 tableware, $15 craft/decor, $15 buffer = $135. Venue, adult food and optional costume purchases are extra.

Supplies researched on October 3, 2026, selected for party usefulness, pack contents, age fit and customer feedback.
